London Design Festival- the highlights near Brick Lane

There are so many things to see at the design festival!

It would take so long to go into each one in detail, so here are some pictures of my highlights I came across around brick lane on Tuesday afternoon.

Typographica exhibition at the Kemistry Gallery: a display of spreads from the famous journal published from 1949-1967. Great archive of taxonomy of type and visual arts!

A very elegant and minimalistic origami-style room divider shown at ‘ A Design Less Ordinary’ exhibition. I want one!!

A wind-knitted scarf shown at the Made in YCN exhibition. (A windmill fixed outside the building is connected to a knitting machine, with the knitted result harvested and rounded off every now and again.)

The Norwegian Prototypes exhibition poster that is also folded into a leaflet that you can take home. Another nice poster to stick onto your wall!

Cute mushroom shaped lamps at the exhibition
